Student projects

I supervise MSc and final-year undergraduate projects that sit at the interface of physics, computation and neuroscience. Typical themes include:

  • extracting trustworthy physiological information from diffuse optical signals (fNIRS, DCS)
  • uncertainty quantification and reproducibility in biomedical measurements
  • physics-informed machine learning for optical neuroimaging
  • complex systems, brain networks, and longitudinal monitoring
  • STEM education and cognitive neuroscience

Current project ideas are shared with University of Birmingham students here: 🔒 project ideas (university login required).
